What a great day year 5 had yesterday! First, they visited the National Gallery and saw paintings by Van Gogh, Monet, Picasso and others. Then, they saw someone having a police escort on their way to St James' Park for lunch. After that, they walked up the Mall to Buckingham Palace before passing Westminster Abbey on the way to the Houses of Parliament. They all had a tour of the Houses of Parliament including going into the House of Commons and the House of Lords as well as meeting a Lord and asking him questions.
