Year 4 Residential

Wilderness Centre
In year 4, our children go to the Wilderness Centre for a 2 night residential. Their challenges start straight away as they have to have a 'can do' attitude walking through the woods to get to the centre. While on the residential, the children get the opportunity to sleep in tents and take part in a range of activities. These have included crate stacking, the spider's web, archery, low ropes and building a camp fire. They enjoy going on a wildlife safari and seeing which insects they can find. The children take part in a number of team games and work on communicating clearly to conquer challenges. They have to look after all their own kit which is good for improving their responsibility. They have a great time and are always learning!
